In the iOS 5.1 version, Apple worked a little bit more on Siri, the speaking assistant, especially after the huge reputation the speaking assistant Siri gained in the past few months after its first release in iPhone 4S. Now Siri also speaks perfect Japanese among its multiple languages which gives us the impression that it took Apple sometime to teach Siri this new language to add it to its list. One more thing, Apple modified Siri to be able to take pictures and start a video recording where now you can hold your iDevice and ask Siri to capture a photo for you or just start a video! That's not all, with iOS 5.1, Siri gained the ability to enable/disable your iDevice's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi upon your command. update 3g with pwnage 4.1.2 wrong ipsw
hi i've got an iphone 3g on 4.0.1 with jailbreak (jailbreakme.com) an unlock (ultrasn0w). it has the old bootrom. now a friend of mine bought a mac and i could update to 4.1 with pwnage, because 4.0.1 is very slow. so i loaded the original 4.1 from apple (iPhone1,2_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw), but pwnage wont let me choose this ipsw-file (wrong ipsw-file). pwnage only lets me choose the 4.1 file for the 3gs. so, how can i update my phone withe the right file ? what would happen if i update it with the 3gs file with pwnage ? another question: how can i download a new ipsw-file via itunes when i've said "don't ask again" when itunes asks me to update or download the file ???
