There are many applications available on iPhone and the iPad, mostly games, which provide 'in-app purchases' features. If you do not want your credit card bills to swell because your child accidentally chose that option during playing a game, then you should turn off in-app purchase option. Below are the steps you have to do to turn off in-app purchase option on your iOS devices:
1. Tap on the Settings button in iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch Homescreen.
2. Swipe down on General and then tap.
3. Scroll to Restrictions and tap.
4. Tap the Enable Restrictions.
5. Enter the passcode of 4 digit numbers. Type the number that is difficult to guess, do not use birth dates or its similar that is predictable to others. After entering the 4 digit number, do not forget to memorize it. then you will be asked to do the 'set up your passcode' twice.
6. Swipe down to the Allowed Content. Position the In-App Purchases button to OFF.
7. Make sure once again that you have correctly positioned the toggle OFF.
8. Done. Now you have successfully disabled in-app purchases option. To reactivate, just enter the passcode you created in step 5.
