In a month or less Ill have enough money for an iPod Touch and a Marc Jacobs bag. Ive been reading about the growing popularity of haggling and Im wondering if I would be able to haggle for these particular products? I live in NYC, and would be buying these products in NYC. For the iTouch, I would probably go to Circuit City, Best Buy or the Apple Store and I would buy the MJ bag either from the MJ store, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus or a similar upscale department store. Would any of these stores be receptive to haggling? If so, what should I do? Should I ask the store manager as soon as I walk into the store?? Thanks! And if you could share your stories about haggling for these sort of items, that would be great!
