The Lazy Bird app is a fun new storybook app for children. Come along with the Lazy Bird as he journeys to Hawaii and learns a new side to himself that he didn't know existed. Before, the Lazy Bird would let his friends pack his luggage, let others build his home, and even find his food – but he learns that it feels good to work hard and to do nice things for others and not just himself.

There are three ways to read this storybook app: "Read to me" will let you listen to animated narration (performed by a 9-year-old girl), "Read it myself" will let you read the book to yourself while turning through the pages, and "Record the voice" will let you become your own narrator by recording the story in your own voice. I always like apps that let you record your own narration, I think that kids love hearing their own parents (grandparents, etc.) voice or their own voice while the story is being played. Also, I should mention that the app highlights the words as they are being read to make it easy for little ones to follow along.

I enjoyed the Lazy Bird storybook app. I thought that the story taught an important lesson for little ones. I recommend this app to those with young children who love to read or are learning to read.
